Meet the Staff
Rev. Mike Will, Campus Minister, Director
Hey Everyone! I am beginning my eleventh year as the director of Wesley and it has been the absolute best years of my life. My passion for campus ministry comes from a deep sense that college years are key to developing an authentic God connection that will guide and bless your entire life.
I always sign my letters "In Christ, Rev. Mike" because of the verses from Colossians 2:6-7: "As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving," as well as 2 Corinthians 5:17: "So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!"
My wife, Julia and I met while attending seminary together in Denver, Colorado. We have been married for twenty years. Julia serves as associate pastor at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Columbia. We have a twelve year old son, John Michael. I love to sing, play guitar, write music, worship, pray, talk about God, lead mission trips, take walks with my wife and play catch with my son.
Have a great college experience and make time for God in your daily lives. Call me anytime if you need anything: 573-268-5901.
Jacque Ballew, Administrative Assistant
Hello Wesley people! I’m Jacque, the new Administrative Assistant for Wesley Campus Ministry. Drop in the office when you can, I work in the mornings.
My husband Randy and I eloped (married in the church parlor) in 1984. We have one incredible ‘fur child’, a Pointer named DJ. He’s a bird dog, and he’s keeping us young!
My favorite scripture verse is Jeremiah 29:11 – “I know the plans I have for you” says the Lord. “Plans for your welfare, and not for harm. Plans for a future with hope.”
This church was built because the churches in the Missouri Methodist Conference wanted a place for their students, who were away at college, to attend church and be at home among ‘church family’. Welcome to your extended family – we’ve been waiting for you to get here!
Jenna Jordan, Peer Minister
Hey! I'm Jenna and I'm a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. I love to spend my free time with my Wesley friends! My favorite Wesley activities are mission trips, the annual float trip and Midweeks. I am also a peer educator at MU and work in a psychology research lab. I am excited to start as a Peer Minister this fall and to meet all of the new students.
Zach Callaway, Peer Minister
Hey Everybody! I am a senior at MU majoring in religious studies and philosophy. In addition to being a Peer Minister at Wesley, I am also the President of our organization. Besides being around for our full schedule of Wesley activities, I work as a cartoonist for the Maneater and youth leader at Wilkes Blvd UMC. As a peer minister I'm hoping to find new ways for this ministry to connect with people (especially through service), and to allow strong relationships to form, and I'll be looking forward to seeing everyone this fall!

I play the drums for the Midweek services and for our new Sunday worship: The Connection. I love to be around Wesley and meet new people and form new friendships. I am looking forward to being a peer minister and working to helping this ministry move forward into the future.
